A fatal accident occurred at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, on the M-5 highway in Ashinsky District of Chelyabinsk Region. A Nissan Wingroad, during a snowfall, crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Sitrak truck.

«As a result of the crash, a passenger of the Nissan Wingroad, a 45-year-old woman, died at the scene from her injuries,» reported the State Traffic Inspectorate of Chelyabinsk Region (Gosavtoinspektsiya Chelyabinskoy oblasti, GIBDD). «The driver of the car and a minor passenger, a 13-year-old teenager, were taken to a hospital with various injuries.»
At the wheel of the Nissan Wingroad was a 47-year-old man, while the Sitrak truck was driven by a 44-year-old driver.
