On the night of January 23 in Yekaterinburg, at 63 Krestinskogo Street, a fire broke out in a ninth-floor apartment of a high-rise building in the Botanichesky microdistrict.
According to operational information, over 20 residents were evacuated from the building.
Seventeen people, including three children, were evacuated via stairwells, while seven people, two of whom were children, were rescued by units of the Gas and Smoke Protection Service using rescue devices.
The fire area was 40 square meters.
At the time of the incident, the apartment was empty, as residents had left on their own.
To extinguish the fire, 7 units of fire equipment and 21 rescuers were deployed.
