Law enforcement agencies have provided initial details about a teenager«s attack on Gymnasium No. 16 in Ufa. The incident occurred on the morning of February 3. Here is what the official account states.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), the attacker was a ninth-grade student from the same school. He brought a plastic air gun to class and fired at the teacher and classmates, as well as detonated a firecracker. Police subsequently apprehended the shooter.
According to authorities and agencies, there were no serious injuries. Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev told journalists at the scene that no one was harmed.
