Murmansk Shelter Offers Psychologist and Meals After Fire

In Murmansk, at 39 Askoldovtsev Street, a temporary shelter has been opened for residents evacuated due to a fire. A psychologist is working at the shelter, and hot meals are being provided to Murmansk residents — the first portion is already available.

— «I personally checked the operation of the Cultural Development Center, which is already accepting residents. Here they can take bottled water, portable chargers, cookies, and hot tea. We are working on organizing meals for the youngest Murmansk residents,» said Murmansk Mayor Ivan Lebedev.

An ambulance team has arrived at the shelter — medics will check blood pressure and examine people. Volunteers have quickly joined the effort.
Recall, today on Askoldovtsev Street, gas equipment caught fire, and people from nearby houses were evacuated. There is no threat of a gas explosion. All important and current information is being published in the online broadcast.
