Mother Is a Psychologist: 11-Year-Old Schoolgirl Found Dead in Yekaterinburg

Acquaintances told about 11-year-old Ksenia (name changed — Ed.), who was found dead under the windows of a multi-story building in Akademichesky. The emergency on Semikhatov Street occurred on the morning of January 27. The fifth-grader fell from a shared balcony and died on the spot.

According to neighbors, Ksyusha lived in an apartment with her mother.

«The girl»s mother is a psychologist and writer. A quiet family, seemingly well-off. The parents divorced three years ago,« acquaintances of the family told E1.RU.

Classmates say that Ksenia didn«t really have friends at school.

«No one really bullied her. She was friends with only a couple of girls. And boys, who are a couple of years older than us, called her a »nonconformist.« Just yesterday she was in classes. A girlfriend said that she had argued with her mother recently,» one of the schoolchildren said.

«She had been depressed for a long time, about a year, often complained about life and talked about such thoughts,» another acquaintance of the girl claims.

«Ksyusha participated in school Olympiads. Today, when they found out what happened, all the girls cried. Some did call her »anime fan,« but they didn»t show any aggression,« a classmate added.

According to an E1.RU source, law enforcement is considering the suicide version. The girl«s mother learned about what happened from law enforcement officers, who were called to the scene by witnesses. Medics and police officers immediately arrived at the house.

«The police arrived, went up, knocked on the mother»s door. She thought the child was at school. Then they all went downstairs, and the woman realized it was her daughter. They went through the floors and saw that on the transitional loggia there were a note and a phone,« an E1.RU source said.
