The Northwestern Transport Prosecutor«s Office reported the sentencing on January 29. The court found the Moscow resident guilty of hooliganism committed while resisting a government representative.
The assault occurred at Moscow Station in St. Petersburg during a mandatory security check.
The incident occurred on July 17, 2025. The man attempted to enter the premises of Moscow Station without undergoing the mandatory security screening. When security workers stopped him, he struck one of them several times in the face. As a result of the case review, the court imposed a punishment of two years of imprisonment. The convicted individual will serve the sentence in a strict-regime correctional colony.
