A minibus with passengers crashed on the M-5 «Ural» highway near Sim (Chelyabinsk Region). As a result, the driver died and three passengers were injured. This was reported on Sunday, January 25, by the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (STSI) of the Chelyabinsk Region.
The accident occurred around 9 a.m. According to the STSI of the neighboring region, the scheduled Volkswagen minibus traveling from Satka to Ufa crashed into a Scania truck due to insufficient following distance. The 43-year-old bus driver died at the scene, and all three passengers were taken to the hospital. Contraflow traffic was organized at the crash site.
