Medics report casualties in mass road accident near Tyumen
One person was killed and five others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on a federal highway.

A mass road traffic accident occurred during the day on January 28 at the 32nd kilometer of the federal highway between Tyumen and Omsk.
According to the Tyumen Region Department of Health, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Five people were injured in the accident: one was treated on site, four patients were taken to OKB No. 2 (Regional Clinical Hospital No. 2). Two patients in serious condition were hospitalized in a specialized department, two patients in satisfactory condition were referred for outpatient treatment,” medics reported.
According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI), the accident began when a Volvo truck veered into the oncoming lane and hit a Lada Granta passenger car.
After that, there was a collision with a heavy-duty KamAZ truck and an Audi A6 car, followed by a head-on crash with a GAZelle Next minibus.
