Medic Blogger Fired in Kemerovo for Humiliating Patients in Videos

A woman from Kemerovo, who mocked patients with a colleague and posted the ridicule on social media, has been fired from the institution. The man in the footage, leaked online by unknown persons, does not work in the region«s healthcare, said Andrey Tarasov, the health minister of the region, on Tuesday, February 3.
According to the minister, the controversial video was filmed long ago by graduates of the Kuzbass Medical College. By 2026, the girl was working at one of Kemerovo«s institutions, but when the videos on her personal Telegram channel became known, her contract was terminated.
The student who laughed at patients under anesthesia with her is currently not working in the healthcare system.
“This contradicts not only the norms of medical ethics but also universal human values,” Tarasov noted on social media.
Additional lectures on medical ethics standards and medical confidentiality have also been conducted in all medical institutions, universities, and colleges in Kuzbass.
Law enforcement officers also visited the authors of the recordings, seeing in the videos grounds for initiating a criminal case on violation of privacy.
Meanwhile, the girl claimed that she was allegedly hacked, and all photos and videos were sent to a colleague «for exclusively therapeutic purposes.»
