Gas supply to houses No. 18 and 22 on Askoldovtsev Street in Murmansk has been switched to backup lines. City Mayor Ivan Lebedev stated that residents will return to their homes as soon as specialists are confident the situation poses no danger.

Recall that today on Askoldovtsev Street, gas equipment caught fire, and people from nearby houses were evacuated. There is no threat of a gas explosion.
