Massive Three-Car Accident on Chuisky Trakt – Video
On the afternoon of January 27, a massive accident involving three vehicles occurred in the Talmen District of Altai Krai, the regional State Traffic Inspectorate reported.
The collision occurred on the Chuisky Trakt, a major highway in the Altai region of Russia.
According to preliminary data, the driver of a VAZ-21124 car, a young man born in 2004, who was traveling from Novosibirsk towards Barnaul, veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a Mitsubishi Lancer driven by a man born in 1996. After that, the Mitsubishi Lancer collided with a Mercedes-Benz truck driven by a driver born in 1985, who was traveling in the same direction.
As a result of the accident, the VAZ driver died at the scene before the ambulance arrived. The Mitsubishi driver sustained injuries of varying severity, received medical attention, and hospitalization was not required.
Employees of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
