A three-car collision occurred in Voronezh, leaving one person injured, according to the regional department of the Russian Interior Ministry.

The accident happened on Monday, February 2, at around 17:45 near house No. 158 on Krasnoznamennaya Street. According to preliminary police information, a 20-year-old resident of Tambov Region, driving a Lada Granta toward Matrosov Street, failed to maintain a safe distance and crashed into a Ford Focus. The foreign-made car was driven by a 42-year-old local woman, who by inertia then crashed into a Kia Soul, which was driven by a 66-year-old resident of Semiluki.

As a result of the mass crash, a 26-year-old female passenger of the Ford Focus was injured. She was taken to a hospital with her injuries.

In total, 103 road accidents occurred in the Voronezh Region in the past 24 hours. Of these, 59 were in the city of Voronezh, 37 were in the region«s districts, and 7 were on federal highways. Four people were injured in four of the accidents.
