Masked Man Dubbed 'Fantomas' Attacks Elderly Neighbor in Yekaterinburg

A figure the locals call «Fantomas» is causing trouble at a residential complex in Yekaterinburg. That«s the nickname residents have given their erratic neighbor. He hides his face behind a mask, but everyone at 27 Tsiolkovskogo Street knows who he is. He has been featured in E1.RU reports multiple times for setting cars on fire in the courtyard and lunging at a driver with a crowbar on the road.

Recently, an intercom camera captured him assaulting a neighbor he encountered at the building«s entrance.

«Now he»s attacking people. He assaulted a man out of the blue. The video shows him first trying to rip off the man«s glasses and then kicking him. And yes, he»s still at large,« a local resident told E1.RU.

According to residents, the victim filed a police report against the local «Fantomas.» We have requested a comment from the Yekaterinburg police department and will publish it as soon as we receive it.

There, a young man would periodically blast music at high volume, periodically cut off electricity in other apartments, and wrote strange messages to female neighbors.
