Man Found Dead in Fire at Altai Village

The fire at the Talmenka home extended across 24 square meters before firefighters contained it.
A private residential house burned in the village of Talmenka, according to the press service of the regional EMERCOM (Ministry of Emergency Situations).

The blaze originated in the outbuildings of the private residence in the Altai village.
The flames engulfed outbuildings. Eight firefighters arrived to extinguish the fire. The blaze was contained to an area of 24 square meters.
At the scene, EMERCOM rescuers discovered the body of a man.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was carelessness while smoking.
Prior to this, in a horrific fire in Kamen-na-Obi, four people died. The emergency occurred late at night. Under difficult conditions, two adults and two children aged 5 years and 8 months were evacuated from the house. Later, all the victims died in the hospital.
