Early this morning, a tragedy occurred in the resort city of Kislovodsk — a local resident died in the fire. The flames completely destroyed the house.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) of Stavropol Krai, around 04:20, a report was received about a fire in a residential house on Kutuzov Street in Kislovodsk. Specialists arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire. The fire completely destroyed the structure, and inside, the body of a 65-year-old man was found.

At the scene, 14 firefighters and 5 units of equipment were working. The preliminary cause is stove overheating, but an investigation is pending to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy. A fire-technical examination has also been appointed, and all case materials have been sent to the Investigative Committee.

Unfortunately, such an incident is not the only one recently. Yesterday, in the Andropovsky District, another resident of Stavropol died in a fire. According to PASS SK, the fire occurred in the village of Soluno-Dmitriyevskoye on the territory of a private house. Local residents saw the flames and immediately called specialists.
