A major fire broke out on the afternoon of January 28 on Kalinina Street in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The flames engulfed the building of the Ozon marketplace«s order pickup point, causing thick smoke to spread throughout the street.

According to the regional office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), the preliminary fire area reached 400 square meters. At the time of the report, there was no information about casualties.

The department«s press service stated: »The fire is burning inside the Ozon order pickup point building. Preliminarily, the fire area is 400 square meters. No information about casualties has been received.«

This is not the first such incident in recent days. On the morning of January 28, in the Uralmash district, a fire destroyed a Chevrolet Lacetti and damaged a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Toyota Camry at one of the car service centers. And on the evening of January 26, a fire at another car service center on Chernyakhovskogo Street led to damage to three cars—two Toyota Land Cruisers and one Chery Tiggo.
