Loud Explosions Reported in Krasnodar and Adygea, Residents React
Residents of Krasnodar began hearing loud sounds resembling explosions around 8:00 PM. Initially, reports came from the eastern part of the city: a «bang» was heard in the area of the airport, Znamensky village, and others. Then the sounds spread to other parts of the city: residents of the Yubileyny and Festivalny microdistricts, the center, and neighboring Adygea started reporting them.
The Telegram channel of the MCU reported seeing complaints from people on social media about loud sounds. The Unified Duty Dispatch Service (EDDS) said they are currently verifying the information — so far, there is no damage in the city. Emergency services are monitoring the situation.
«We will definitely inform you as soon as new details emerge,» wrote the MCU Telegram channel.
In the Slavyansky District of Kuban, the flight of a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) has also been detected, according to the RSChS (Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations). Emergency services report that «explosions and falling debris from UAVs are possible as a result of air defense work.»
Residents of Adygea told 93.RU that after the latest sounds, their windows rattled and a private house vibrated. Here is what else people are saying:

Updated at 9:16 PM: According to the regional operational headquarters, debris from a UAV was found in the khutor of Trudobelikovsky in the Krasnoarmeysky District. It fell on the territory of a private house, no one was injured. Also, in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, windows were blown out in a multi-story building, and special and operational services are working on site.
As 93.RU wrote, on the afternoon of February 1, a drone threat was declared in Krasnodar Krai and Adygea. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, from 08:00 to 18:00, 6 drones were shot down over the krai, and 2 more over the Sea of Azov.
