Load triggers unstable power supply near Chita
Energy workers in Chita urge residents to avoid using high-power appliances at the same time to prevent overloads.
Power supply for residents has been sporadically limited in the village of Smolensk due to an overload of electrical equipment that powers consumers, reported Chita.Ru on January 25 from the press service of the branch of Rosseti Siberia — Chitaenergo.
“The load has exceeded the permissible limit. Chitaenergo is conducting work to switch and transfer the load to other power centers. In the near future, power supply will be fully restored. To prevent such situations, energy workers are asking residents not to exceed the power specified in the electricity supply contract and not to turn on energy-intensive electrical appliances simultaneously,” the statement says.
