Landslide reactivates in Adler due to rains, endangering apartment building

In Adler, the situation is worsening on the landslide-prone area near house No. 26/5 on Petrozavodskaya Street. For several days, soil and cut fallen trees were being removed from there, but prolonged rains have reactivated the landslide. The yard area is again covered with clay.

Residents of the building claim that water mixed with clay is flowing in a continuous stream down the landslide slope. As a result, the yard area is already flooded.

Recall that the landslide behind the house at Petrozavodskaya, 26/5 reactivated on January 25. Authorities have introduced a state of heightened readiness. Meanwhile, the administration«s press service asserts that there is no threat to the life and health of residents. The situation is under the control of specialized services, and round-the-clock monitoring of the slope»s condition has been organized.
