Lada Niva hits two pedestrians and minibus in Chelyabinsk

A traffic accident occurred on Komarov Street in Chelyabinsk on Saturday, January 31.
According to preliminary information from the State Traffic Inspectorate, a Lada Niva driven by a 48-year-old man veered into the oncoming lane after losing control. At a pedestrian crossing, it struck two women and then collided with a GAZ minibus, route No. 78.
«As a result of the accident, pedestrians — women aged 54 and 80 — suffered bodily injuries,» the city traffic police department reported.
Ambulance crews, Emergencies Ministry rescuers, and traffic police inspectors promptly arrived at the scene. Both victims were hospitalized for examination and necessary medical care.
