Lada Niva Hits Pedestrians, Collides with Minibus in Chelyabinsk

The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the city of Chelyabinsk.
In Chelyabinsk, a Lada Niva hit two pedestrians and then collided with minibus No. 78. The accident occurred on Saturday, January 31, on Komarov Street.
Traffic police and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision.
According to the traffic police, the Lada Niva was driven by a 48-year-old man. He lost control of the vehicle, drove into oncoming traffic, hit pedestrians on a crosswalk, and then crashed into a GAZ minibus.
‘As a result of the accident, the pedestrians — women aged 54 and 80 — sustained bodily injuries,’ the city traffic police commented.
An ambulance, emergency services (EMERCOM) and traffic police inspectors arrived at the scene. The pedestrians were taken to a hospital for examination.
