Lada Grantas scattered like billiard balls in Chelyabinsk accident
A collision at an intersection in Chelyabinsk on Sunday sent two Lada cars onto the sidewalk, injuring the driver of one vehicle.

In Chelyabinsk on Sunday, February 1, an accident occurred at the intersection of Goncharenko and Barbusse streets. Two Lada cars were thrown onto the sidewalk after a collision. The State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI) provided details on the circumstances.
The other car was propelled towards a house but avoided a direct collision.

The accident was witnessed by a subscriber of 74.RU. He believes that the traffic light at this intersection needs an additional left-turn signal section.
«The Grantas scattered like billiard balls. This intersection has long needed a separate traffic light section for left turns; accidents are constant,» the motorist said.
The GAI told 74.RU that the accident did involve injuries — a 63-year-old driver of one of the Ladas was hurt.
