Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein was involved in a serious car accident. The official«s vehicle skidded on a turn, and the minibus overturned. The governor is now in the hospital.

The cause of the accident was difficult weather conditions — with skids and black ice on the roads. Fortunately, the politician was not seriously injured — he got off with a fright and bruises. But he still needs to undergo examination.

“Today I planned to work all day in the Konyshyovsky District. Unfortunately, the weather conditions here are not simple. The car skidded on a difficult section of the road and was thrown onto the shoulder. Now I am in the hospital. Thank God, everything ended without serious consequences. There are no casualties, we did not collide with other cars,” wrote Alexander Khinshtein in his Telegram channel. — “I apologize to our residents with whom I could not meet today. As soon as I recover, we will definitely make it up.”

Recently, Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein demanded that a room for bodies be urgently equipped in Kursk City Hospital No. 6. Photographs of hospital corridors where bodies of deceased patients lay for hours appeared on social networks.

The photos, showing corpses wrapped in plastic bags lying on gurneys, were taken by one of the hospital employees. As it turned out, there is no morgue in the hospital, so until the corpse is transferred to the pathological bureau, the body waits its turn right in the corridor, next to living patients.

Upon seeing the photographs, Khinshtein instructed to provide the hospital with a separate room within 24 hours.
