Kuban residents describe night drone attack shaking homes
On the night of January 28, Krasnodar Krai was attacked by drones. According to the regional operational headquarters, there is destruction in the Seversky District — four private houses were damaged there. In the stanitsa of Severskaya, one building had its roof, floor, and ceiling damaged, while in another, windows were blown out. Also, in the khutor of Svobodny, debris damaged two houses, blowing out windows there. It is reported that there are no casualties, and operational and special services are working on site.
Residents of the district heard explosions around 2:00 a.m.; locals said that some had their front doors shaking. Closer to 6:00 a.m., loud sounds repeated:

«My front door almost got pushed in at 5:58, and the interior doors were shaking violently, really intensely.»

In addition, loud sounds frightened residents of the Yablonovsky settlement. They also did not sleep all night, and later — heard explosions early in the morning:
«There were two explosions at six in the morning, what was that?»
«It was like tremors, I thought it was an earthquake, car alarms went off.»
«There was a strong crash. I heard it when I lay down. I have no strength left, to be honest.»
It was also unsettled in the stanitsa of Yelizavetinskaya. Here is what locals wrote:
«They banged strongly again, it can be heard in Novaya Yelizavetka.»

Also on January 27 at 7:28 p.m., Rosaviatsiya (the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency) reported restrictions at Krasnodar Airport. They were in effect all night, the air harbor resumed normal operations the next morning at 7:58 a.m. Also in the evening, a drone danger was announced in the krai. Sirens were activated in Novorossiysk, after 15 minutes the alert system was launched in Gelendzhik and neighboring Divnomorskoye and Kabardinka.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 24 drones were shot down over the territory of Kuban. Another six were shot down over the Black Sea waters, three — over the Sea of Azov.
