Krasnoyarsk school to reopen after 8th grader's arson

Investigators opened a criminal case into the incident at School No. 153. This was reported by NGS24.RU from the investigators« social media.

According to the agency«s information, the 14-year-old girl is currently being interrogated. In addition, law enforcement will assess the security system of the educational institution.

As clarified by the Krasnoyarsk Education Department, as a result of the incident, not only children but also a teacher were injured. The educational process was stopped, and students were sent home. NGS24.RU also clarified that tomorrow, 5 February, the school will be open, but «the educational process will be slightly adjusted» — the department did not specify how. A psychologist will work with students in the future.

Earlier, NGS24.RU reported that on the afternoon of 4 February, a 14-year-old girl set fire to School No. 153 in Krasnoyarsk. According to the Krasnoyarsk Regional Ministry of Health, three children were hospitalized in the burn center as a result of the incident. They have burns of varying severity, and diagnostics are being carried out.
