Several outbound flights have already been rescheduled — to Istanbul, St. Petersburg, Dubai, and Tel Aviv. So far the delay is no more than an hour.

The airport is often closed during the threat of a drone attack, but no alert has been declared this time — no notification from the RSChS (Russian Unified State System for Prevention and Response to Emergency Situations) was sent to residents of Krasnodar Krai. The airport also sometimes suspends operations during bad weather or fog, but currently it is clear and without precipitation in Krasnodar. At the moment, the airports of Sochi and Gelendzhik are operating normally.

Updated: at 14:04 the restrictions were lifted, Rosaviatsiya reported.

Recall that on 2 February the airport was closed for 13 hours, causing mass delays. As a result, many passengers could not fly for 20 hours.
