Klepikovsky District Village Hit by Another Emergency Blackout

Residents of Klepikovsky District have been complaining about outages since early January
In the comments on Governor Pavel Malkov«s Telegram channel, a resident of Akulovo village in Klepikovsky District complained about the lack of electricity. According to the local resident, the hotline told her that this was due to an emergency outage, but there have been no snowfalls or severe frosts in their area.
«Perhaps emergency crews are dealing with the aftermath of the January 11 snowfalls, but why should village residents suffer? We have repeatedly asked that during emergency or planned outages, the village be provided with backup power sources. If there are no backup power sources, please provide the village with fuel (gasoline, diesel) for personal generators,» the woman said indignantly.
In response to the comment from the resident of Akulovo village, Rosseti stated that the power interruptions were caused by trees falling on power lines. The situation was also exacerbated by plants being covered with an ice crust after the snowfalls.
«The team of power engineers immediately began restoration work. A large part of the line has already been inspected, and consumers are being reconnected sequentially. Work will continue until the power supply is fully restored,» the organization clarified.
At the moment, the power supply has been fully restored, Rosseti reported.
Earlier, on January 14, another local resident wrote on the governor«s social media that the villages of Myagkovo and Likhunino have been without power for more than a week. And only yesterday, January 20, the regional government reported the full restoration of power supply in Klepikovsky District.
