The tourist came to the island for the winter. One day, during a call on the terrace, she was bitten by some insect, but she thought it was a mosquito. However, by night, Anna developed a fever and her temperature rose.

A boil appeared at the bite site, causing pain in her leg. Initially, the Kazan resident contacted her insurance company, where she was advised to take an allergy medication.

When the woman arrived at the clinic, she was urgently hospitalized with an infection. Doctors opened the boil on her leg and inserted a drain. For two days, she came for wound dressings, and then it was stitched.

According to doctors, the woman was bitten by a Bali diving beetle. The insect is not venomous, but its bites are very painful and can cause severe swelling, fever, and infections.

Another incident involved another tourist from Kazan. In Vietnam, an aggressive monkey attacked a girl named Angelina and bit her so severely that doctors had to stitch her arm.
