Investigators probe death of Voronezh sambist Alexandra Lalachkina

In Voronezh, investigators are establishing the circumstances of the death of 18-year-old sambist Alexandra Lalachkina. This was reported to a Voronezh1.ru correspondent by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.

Alexandra went missing on January 22. She drove home after training in a dark blue Mercedes, but her family did not see her return. The next day, a search for the girl began — with assistance from volunteers of «Liza Alert». On January 24, near the Pridonskoy microdistrict, her car was found, and a little later — her body (in the same place, in the Sovetsky District).

Alexandra Lalachkina had been practicing sambo since childhood and was a candidate for master of sports. The athlete spent the New Year holidays on the mat: literally two weeks before her death — from January 6 to 9 — she was at a training camp in Balashov, Saratov Oblast. According to the girl«s mother, Sasha was balanced and calm, with no suicidal tendencies. The sambo coach Stanislav Savolokin noted that Lalachkina had no recent problems in sports — she was planning to go to a training camp in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
