Industrial Park Burning After Drone Attack in Domodedovo

In Domodedovo, Moscow region, a fire broke out at the Yuzhnye Vorota (Southern Gates) industrial park after a drone attack, said district head Evgeniya Khrustaleva. According to her, the fire was contained and extinguishing continues.

A drone also struck the top floor of a residential building in the Yuzhny microdistrict — no fire, but facade damaged. Two people were injured: one in a private house fire, another on the M-4 highway where a drone fell near a car.

A total of six people with injuries of varying severity are at Domodedovo Hospital. One man is in serious condition; doctors are fighting for his life.

The Yuzhnye Vorota industrial park is a large warehouse complex covering 138 hectares in the Belye Stolby microdistrict.

Meanwhile, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under the terrorism article (Article 205 of the Criminal Code) over the nighttime drone raid. According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, over 400 drones were heading toward the Moscow region, most neutralized on distant approaches.
