Investigators have initiated a criminal case into a murder in the Nevsky District of St. Petersburg. The main suspect is the woman«s husband.
According to the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the city on February 2, the incident occurred on Dmitry Ustinov Street. A conflict between the spouses ended with the man firing a shotgun into the woman«s head, and she died at the scene.
As investigators have established, the suspect committed suicide shortly after the murder. At present, the crime scene examination has been completed, and work is underway to establish all the circumstances of the case.
