Hospitals Open, Rural Clinics Closed in Arkhangelsk Power Outage

Hospitals in Pinezhsky and Kholmogorsky districts continue to operate in normal mode, despite the power outage. This was reported by 29.RU in the regional Ministry of Health.
“The power outage did not affect Kholmogorskaya Central District Hospital, and Karpogorskaya Hospital has generators that ensure operation in case of power cuts,” the Ministry of Health of Arkhangelsk Oblast reported.
However, feldsher-obstetric posts (FAPs) are currently not working.
“In the settlements where the power outage occurred, there are FAPs. They are not currently receiving patients. From lunchtime, when electricity is restored, they will start working,” said Vitaly Dianov, head of Kholmogorsky Municipal District.
In the areas where electricity was lost, today schools and kindergartens did not open, but heating continues to operate in the districts.
All details related to the blackout in Pomorye (Arkhangelsk Oblast) are being collected in an online broadcast.
