Head-on collision in Voronezh region injures four people

In Voronezh region, two cars collided head-on, injuring four people, according to the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD).
The accident occurred on Wednesday, January 21, at 13:40 on the third kilometer of the M-4 Don highway near the village of Aleksandrovka in Novousmansky district. Preliminary reports indicate that a 19-year-old driver of a Lada Kalina veered into the oncoming lane and crashed into a Renault Logan driven by a 69-year-old resident of Voronezh.
As a result, the driver of the Kalina and his 19-year-old passenger were injured, along with the driver and a 66-year-old passenger of the Logan. All four were taken to the hospital with injuries.
In total, on Wednesday, 158 accidents occurred in the region, with 111 in Voronezh city, 38 in the districts, and 9 on federal highways. Sixteen people were injured in 11 traffic accidents.
