Granta tanker truck collision kills four in Bashkortostan
The driver of the Lada Granta and his three passengers were killed.
A tragic accident claimed the lives of four people in the Belebeyevsky District of Bashkortostan, the republic«s emergency services reported. The incident occurred on the highway between the villages of Bulanovka and Slakbash, where a KAMAZ tanker truck and a Lada Granta collided.
It is known that the deceased are three passengers and the driver of the car. At the time of publication, the traffic police (GAI) reports that their identities are being established. If the agency releases new information about the incident, we will update the article.
As seen in the footage, the Lada was severely deformed after the impact. Rescue workers extracted the bodies from the crushed vehicle using special equipment.
Note that at the time of the accident, bad weather had set in in many districts of the republic. Because of it, a number of highways in the region had to be closed for passenger transport and trucks.
