Gotvalda street accident: car veers onto sidewalk near man with dog
On Gotvalda street in Yekaterinburg, a Renault with a security company«s logo collided with a Skoda that was turning left at an intersection without ensuring the maneuver was safe.
Dashcam footage shows the security vehicle being thrown onto the sidewalk after the collision.
The moment of the accident was captured on dashcam footage by a reader of E1.RU. The impact threw the security company«s car onto the sidewalk, where a man was walking with a dog at the time. The vehicle flew within centimeters of them, but the pedestrian was miraculously unharmed.
‘The man later approached the Renault but left, I assume he was checking the condition of the driver, who did not exit the car for a long time,’ an eyewitness to the incident said.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the Renault was taken from the accident scene by an ambulance.
