Girl, 13, Missing After Going to Look for Ring
In the Serpukhov district of the Moscow region, a 13-year-old schoolgirl has been missing for a day. According to her family, who spoke to MSK1.RU, the girl disappeared on July 19 in the SNT Biopribor gardening community in Pushchino.
«She left on her own, now the police are searching,» the girl’s grandmother told MSK1.RU.
According to MSK1.RU, the girl lived with her mother and two younger brothers. For the past two months, she had not used a phone, making it impossible to track her via communication devices.
According to preliminary information, on Sunday evening the girl lost a ring during a walk and decided to go out for 20 minutes to look for it outside. She left all her belongings on the table and took only a flashlight with her. Her mother was at work at the time.
Dozens of concerned people and volunteers have already joined the search for the schoolgirl. They are reviewing surveillance camera footage and posting flyers in nearby localities.
«There are no leads at all, she didn’t appear on cameras,» Yuri Shitikov, head of the search team Spasgrad, told MSK1.RU.
