Girl, 13, drowns at wild beach in Trans-Urals

In the Trans-Urals, a 13-year-old girl drowned at a wild beach on Lake Popovskoye in the Kargapolsky District, according to a post in the VK group «Rescuers of Kurgan».
A report that a teenager had drowned on the lake near the village of Zaouralskoye was received by the search and rescue service on 17 July. Divers who arrived at the scene recovered the girl«s body and handed it over to her relatives.
Earlier, over the weekend, two brothers aged 17 and 26 died on the same lake.
Rescuers urge residents of the Trans-Urals not to leave children unattended near water and to constantly remind teenagers about the dangers of playing on the shore. The main causes of death among minors in water bodies remain swimming in prohibited areas, inability to swim, and lack of adult supervision.
