On the evening of January 23, gas was cut off in three villages of the Pervomaysky District in Altai Krai. The suspension of supply affected Firsovo, Bobrovka, and Lesnoy. Residents of the settlements were without heating until 3:00 PM today.

The cause of the gas supply disruption was icing of equipment at a gas regulation station. At present, its operation has been fully restored despite the frost, according to the Ministry of Construction of Altai Krai.

A total of 46 people and 9 units of equipment were involved in solving the problem. The reason for the prolonged absence of gas supply is attributed to difficulties with pressure testing of networks within the villages, as well as the need to diagnose gas reduction points in the settlements affected by the restrictions.

At present, due to changing weather conditions in the Pervomaysky District, duty shifts for employees of engineering and gas services continue.

Recall that earlier a similar situation occurred in the villages of Belmesevo and Konyukhi, where from 2:00 AM until morning people were without light and heat in 40-degree below zero temperatures (-40°F).
