In the MZhK (Maslozhirokombinat) district on the afternoon of January 30, heat supply was temporarily suspended. The cause was damage to a gas pipeline on an under-construction viaduct, which led to the shutdown of a boiler house that is not part of «Krasnodarteploenergo» and is maintained by a third-party organization.

Without heating remained:

  • 56 apartment buildings,
  • MZhK hospital,
  • 10 administrative buildings,
  • 2 kindergartens,
  • a school,
  • Kuban stadium,
  • a swimming center.

Our specialists are cooperating with emergency gas services and the contractor responsible for the boiler house to quickly fix the damage. As soon as the gas supply is restored, we will immediately begin supplying heat through our central heating points,

— noted the press service of Krasnodarteploenergo

Earlier that same day, the company reported that until 17:00, the boiler house at Garage Street, 45 was shut down for scheduled work on gas equipment. Dozens of homes were left without heat.
