According to preliminary data, the fire covered an area of about 35 square meters. Several teams of firefighters and rescuers worked at the scene. The fire was localized at 10:52.
Emergency services reported that there is no threat of explosion. This information was confirmed by Murmansk Oblast Governor Andrey Chibis at a meeting of the regional government.
«The fire is localized. According to reports from emergency services, there are no additional risks. I want to thank my colleagues for the prompt handling of all aspects of the incident,» the governor noted.
