Funeral near Yekaterinburg for women killed in Perm Highway accident
On Wednesday, February 4, a funeral will be held in Revda for 53-year-old Natalia Arestova and her 73-year-old mother Alexandra Leonidovna, who died in a terrible accident on the Perm Highway. The tragedy occurred when the family was driving to relatives in Chernushka for a birthday celebration.
«The funeral service will begin at the church on the hill at 11:30. A bus will depart from the square at 11:00,» the daughter and granddaughter of the deceased told E1.RU.
Recall that the accident occurred on January 31. Natalia«s husband Nikolai was behind the wheel. At some point, their Chevrolet veered into a ditch. The women got out of the car to help the driver push the vehicle back onto the road. At that time, they were fatally struck by another car.
As Natalia«s daughter told E1.RU, her grandmother was thrown into a snowdrift—she died immediately, while her mother was still alive and breathing for some time. However, she could not be saved. Nikolai, who was driving, was not injured in the accident.
The relatives of the deceased do not blame the driver of the car that hit the women. In their opinion, the fatal accident occurred due to the condition of the roads.
«We want to sue the road services: the roads were not cleared, it was very slippery,» our interlocutor stated.
Alexandra Leonidovna worked all her life at a factory in Revda. Her daughter followed in her footsteps. Natalia was a compressor unit operator. In her free time, she performed in an amateur theater.
