Earlier, the portal 93.RU wrote that on 27 October, vice-governor of Krasnodar Krai Anna Minkova announced that she was stepping down from her post, which she had held for 10 years. She oversaw the social sector. The official said it was her personal decision.

«I made this decision myself, dictated by personal convictions. The past ten years have been significant for the region»s social sphere, with considerable challenges along the way. ... I will keep my social media accounts, but will no longer be able to respond to your appeals. From the bottom of my heart, I wish everyone good health and happiness!« wrote Minkova.

From 28 October 2025, Minkova headed the media group «Kuban 24». She had previously worked at the local TV channel, holding the position of deputy director since 2006, and in 2014 she became director herself.
