Stanislav Trakhtenberg, the former head of the Yaroslavl Circus, has passed away. He was 87 years old. The tragic news was reported by the mayor«s office on 21 January 2026.

«He rose from a circus performer who worked under the stage name Bosco with the act »Illusion, Telepathy, Hypnosis« to a director and manager of the country»s largest circus projects. In 1990, Stanislav Trakhtenberg took the helm of the Yaroslavl Circus, dedicating an important stage of his professional life to it and making a significant contribution to its development,« the city administration stated.

Stanislav Trakhtenberg was a member of the Academy of Circus Art, a recipient of the «For Services to Yaroslavl» award, a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, and the author of the book «Circus from A to Z».
