In Krasnodar, a fatal accident occurred on the morning of 4 February. The crash happened at 6:25 on Yasnopolyanskaya Street, the Krasnodar City Police Department told 93.RU.

According to police, a 69-year-old driver of a Toyota was traveling from Ussuriyskaya Street towards Cherkasskaya Street. While turning left onto Dombayskaya Street, he failed to yield to a Hyundai traveling in the opposite direction. As a result, they collided.
From the impact, the Hyundai was thrown to the right. The 25-year-old driver of the foreign car struck a man who was on the sidewalk near a crosswalk, as well as a metal fence.
The 33-year-old pedestrian died at the scene. An investigation into the accident is underway to determine all the circumstances.
