Flight from St. Petersburg to Cuba delayed two days

Conviasa airline has postponed the departure from St. Petersburg to Varadero from January 24 to January 26. The reason is the need for technical maintenance.

Conviasa flight V0 3788 from St. Petersburg to Cuba«s Varadero has been postponed from January 24 to January 26. The departure, originally scheduled for 22:30, will now take place at 16:30. The reason for the delay is the need for aircraft technical maintenance.
«Due to the unplanned delay of the Conviasa aircraft, tour operators together with the host party in Cuba have arranged extended hotel stays for passengers. Tourists are provided with meals and all necessities,» the message notes.
Earlier, due to a delay of the same airline, tourists were unable to depart from Cuba on time. Flight V0 3786 from Varadero to St. Petersburg«s Pulkovo Airport, which was supposed to depart on January 23, did not take off. It is currently expected to depart on January 24 at 19:00 Cuban time and arrive at Pulkovo on January 25 at 20:30 Moscow time.
«Representatives of the host party on site are coordinating tourists» actions: informing about the current schedule, organizing transfers, and promptly resolving emerging issues,« adds the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
