A Boeing 757 aircraft operating flight Nha Trang to Irkutsk made an unscheduled landing in Hanoi. The landing was successful and routine, according to the Telegram channel of AZUR air«s press service.
There are 238 passengers and 7 crew members on board. No one was injured, the airline notes.
«Due to the unscheduled landing, adjustments to the airline»s schedule may be required, with possible delays and flight rescheduling. All passengers will be provided services in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations,« the message states.
All airline services are operating in enhanced mode. All necessary measures are being taken to service passengers and continue the flight to Russia. The airline will provide further updates on the situation.
The Telegram channel «Ostorozhno, Novosti» (Caution, News) adds that before landing, the aircraft issued a distress signal. The causes of the incident have not yet been reported.
