Five vehicles collide on highway near Yaroslavl
A serious crash involving five vehicles occurred on the R-132 federal highway, partially blocking traffic.

A major accident occurred during the day on 2 February 2026 on the R-132 «Golden Ring» highway in the Yaroslavl district, near the villages of Bolshoye Domnino and Maloye Domnino.

According to police, the collision occurred at approximately 14:00. The incident involved:
- two Kia passenger cars,
- a Mercedes,
- a truck,
- and a snowplow.
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Yaroslavl region reported: «According to available information, a female passenger from one of the Kias has been taken to the hospital.»
Traffic police crews immediately headed to the scene. «Traffic police officers are working at the accident site,» the press service of the regional department stated.
Traffic on the section of the highway near the accident was severely hampered. One lane was temporarily closed. Traffic police recommended that drivers plan alternative routes in advance.
To minimize congestion, a reversible lane scheme was promptly organized. The FKU Uprador «Kholmogory» specified that reversible traffic for all types of vehicles was launched at 14:05.
The circumstances and causes of the mass collision are being investigated.
