Today, two adults and three children were taken from a private home in the village of Kochetnoye to Rovensky Central District Hospital. According to preliminary data, they were poisoned by carbon monoxide. This was reported by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Saratov Oblast.

The hospitalized are two adults and three minor children aged seven, four, and one and a half years. They are receiving medical care.

Investigators are conducting a probe into the poisoning of three minors and two adults by carbon monoxide; the circumstances are being established.

Recall that in January in Balakovo, Saratov Oblast, the bodies of six people were found, presumably dead from carbon monoxide poisoning. After the incident, neighbors had to pay out of their own pockets to clean the ventilation in order to restore gas supply.
