Firefighters Battle Warehouse Blaze in Perm for Hours

Early in the morning of January 28, a fire broke out in an annex to an office building at 59 Dzerzhinskogo Street, and it is still being extinguished. Our journalist is currently on duty at the scene—we show what is happening there now.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) for Perm Krai reported a fire in a one-story warehouse at 6:15. Around 9:30, it was still burning, according to a correspondent from 59.RU. No one is being allowed onto Dzerzhinskogo Street, 59. Smoke from the fire is visible even from the pedestrian bridge near the locomotive depot of Perm II.
Emergency service workers are still on site. The ministry«s press service reported that 84 people and 26 special vehicles are fighting the fire.
All the snow near the burning building is covered in ash.
Due to the fire, Dzerzhinskogo Street had to be completely closed. Currently, the roadway near the burning building is empty. In other parts of Dzerzhinskogo Street, as well as on Visherskaya and Stroitely Streets, traffic jams have formed.
