On the evening of February 1, a fire broke out in an apartment on Gurzufskaya Street in Yekaterinburg.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started on the ninth floor, where a lonely man named Leonid lives.

A local resident said: His wife and dog died. He lives alone. He drinks quietly and collects garbage.

During the fire, the man was inside the apartment, and currently, there is no information about his condition.

I know the owner. It«s unclear if he»ll survive. Firefighters couldn«t get to him, they were breaking down the door. An ambulance and seven fire trucks arrived, added another witness.

The victim is approximately 60-70 years old.

The source of the fire was localized in his room.

Earlier in the Ural region, a case was recorded where a man and a woman died in a fire in their own home.
